TrueNorth respects your privacy and protects your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we keep your data safe while you work with a mentor.
We collect only the information needed to provide our online mentoring services, including name, email, time zone, professional background, scheduling information, and session related preferences. During a live session we collect audio and video, the transcript of that session, and the messages you send in session chat. If you use the TrueNorth mobile app and allow notifications, we store a push token so we can send session reminders.
Your information is used to create and manage your account, schedule sessions, match you with mentors, communicate updates, and improve the platform experience. We use session audio and video to run the live session and to produce the recap, which includes a summary, action items, and a transcript.
Payments are processed through secure third party providers. TrueNorth does not store or directly access your credit card or banking information.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is only shared when necessary to provide mentorship services, comply with legal obligations, or protect the platform. Daily processes the live session and its transcription.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.
Career transitions involve sensitive information about employment, finances, and plans. Session content stays with the people in the session and is stored for their recap. It is not shared with employers or other third parties.
You have the right to access your personal data, request corrections, and delete your account, subject to legal or operational requirements. You can delete your account from Profile in the TrueNorth mobile app or from Settings on the TrueNorth website.
